Dow Jones News Fund Executive Shirley Carswell will visit Crosby Hall on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025.

Carswell will speak in Crosby 210 at 2 p.m., where she will discuss paid summer internships and pre-internship training.

The Dow Jones News Fund places about 100 college students in internships across media organizations for 10 to 12 weeks each summer.

Internship and training opportunities include audience engagement, business reporting, data journalism, digital media and multiplatform editing.

Students are invited to join Carswell in Crosby 210 on Oct. 2 to learn more about these opportunities.
