Students can now apply for the Quinn Coleman Scholarship for a chance to receive tuition scholarships, stipends and an internship at the Recording Academy or Latin Recording Academy.
The scholarship aims to support and prepare the next generation of creators and professionals in the music industry through professional development and access to resources. Five students will be selected to receive two $1,000 tuition scholarships, a $500 stipend for interview preparation, two $250 stipends for books and equipment, exclusive access to financial and emotional wellness seminars and a spring internship at the Recording Academy or Latin Recording Academy.
Eligibility criteria
- Must be a legal resident of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, 18 years or older, and located in the United States or the District of Columbia at the time of application
- Must be currently enrolled at a college or university and in good standing
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music, music business, business administration, marketing, communications or a related field
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or its equivalent
- Employees, contractors, interns, GRAMMY U representatives, directors, officers and anyone previously employed within six months of the application date by the sponsors or their affiliates, subsidiaries, distributors, retailers, advertising, promotion or judging agencies are not eligible to apply. Immediate family members or household members of such employees, and employees of the Recording Academy and its subsidiaries, are also ineligible
