Get Paid Experience with NBA HBCU Fellowship Program

Applications are open for the NBA HBCU Fellowship Program, a paid summer opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at historically Black colleges and universities. The fellowship provides hands-on experience in the business of basketball through placements with NBA teams and the league office in areas such as marketing, corporate partnerships, IT, social responsibility and ticketing.

Fellows begin the program with a two-day orientation at NBA headquarters and receive career and leadership training throughout the 10-week experience, which runs from June to August. The program offers paid professional experience, mentorship from NBA staff and direct exposure to team and league operations.

Information Session for N.C. A&T Students

An information session exclusively for North Carolina A&T and Hampton University students will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at 6 p.m. EST. NBA representatives will discuss the fellowship and additional career opportunities. Students can register here
