The 2026 Sinclair Broadcast Group scholarship application is open for one more month. This one-time scholarship is for up to $5,000. Students pursuing careers in journalism, digital storytelling, and marketing are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Current college sophomore or junior at a four-year undergraduate college or university
- Pursuing a career in journalism or marketing
- Cumulative GPA of at least 2.50
Applicants will need to provide the following materials within their application:
- Resume
- Cover letter explaining their personal background, financial need, and career goals in 300 words or less
- A short answer response to one of two essay questions related to the fields of journalism/marketing.
- Qualifications for financial need
- Unofficial college transcript
- Two (2) work samples
Students may start their applications, and save them to complete later. Submissions are due by the deadline. Applications that are not completed and submitted by the deadline will not be considered.
