Most people have heard of the Greensboro Four or A&T Four — Ezell Blair Jr., Franklin McCain, Joseph McNeil and David Richmond — and the events of Feb. 1, 1960. However, the Woolworth sit-ins were not a one-day, four-person show; it took a village.
